Setting up your Roamzy eSIM is quick and easy. Most travellers are connected in just a few minutes.
Before You Begin
Before installing your eSIM, please make sure:
✅ Your phone supports eSIM
✅ Your phone is carrier unlocked
✅ You are connected to WiFi or mobile internet
✅ You have your Roamzy QR code email ready
Check Device Compatibility
Not all phones support eSIM.
Before purchasing or installing your eSIM, please check your device on our Compatibility Checker page.

iPhone eSIM Setup
Step 1 — Open Settings
Go to:
Settings → Mobile Data → Add eSIM
Step 2 — Scan QR Code
Use your iPhone camera to scan the QR code sent in your Roamzy email.
Step 3 — Add eSIM
Tap:
👉 Continue
Then:
👉 Add Cellular Plan
Step 4 — Configure Mobile Data
Set:
✅ Roamzy eSIM = Mobile Data
✅ Turn Data Roaming ON for your Roamzy eSIM
Your normal SIM can remain active for calls and messages if desired.
Step 5 — Connect
Once you arrive at your destination, your eSIM should automatically connect to a supported local network.
You’re ready to travel ✈️
Android eSIM Setup
Steps may vary slightly depending on your phone model.
Step 1 — Open Settings
Go to:
Settings → Connections → SIM Manager
Step 2 — Add eSIM
Tap:
👉 Add eSIM
Then:
👉 Scan QR Code
Step 3 — Scan QR Code
Use your phone camera to scan the QR code from your Roamzy email.
Step 4 — Enable Mobile Data
Set:
✅ Roamzy eSIM as Mobile Data
✅ Turn Data Roaming ON
Step 5 — Connect
Your eSIM should automatically connect once you arrive at your destination country.
Important Tips
Install Before You Travel
We recommend installing your eSIM before departure while you still have reliable internet access.
Keep Your QR Code Email
Do not delete your QR code email until your trip is complete.
Do Not Remove Your eSIM
Some eSIMs can only be installed once.
Avoid deleting your eSIM after setup unless instructed by support.
Data Roaming Must Be ON
Your Roamzy eSIM requires Data Roaming to be enabled.
This does NOT mean you will be charged roaming fees by Roamzy.
Troubleshooting
My eSIM Won’t Activate
Please check:
✅ Your device is unlocked
✅ Data roaming is enabled
✅ Your destination is included in your plan
✅ Your eSIM is selected for mobile data
I Can’t Scan the QR Code
Try:
✅ Increasing screen brightness
✅ Opening the QR code on another device
✅ Using manual installation details if provided
I Have No Internet Connection
Try:
✅ Restarting your phone
✅ Toggling airplane mode ON/OFF
✅ Selecting a network manually
